Two Super Eagles players that caused Nigeria the World Cup Ticket

Earlier today at exact 06:00pm, the Super Eagles of Nigeria were up against Ghana at the MKO Abiola National stadium in Abuja. More than 30,000 fans were live to witness the African FIFA World Cup qualifier's second leg fixture.

Eguavoen's squad depth against the black stars of Ghana was impressive but they failed to impress the home fans as they were held to a 1-1 draw and failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 2006.

Napoli's Victor Osimhen made it 2-1 for Nigeria but with the help of the VAR intervention, the goal was ruled offside after a full check was done by the Referee. The game later ended 1-1 after 95 minutes of football as Super Eagles fail to qualify.

2. Emmanuel Dennis

The Watford city player's presence in the game against Ghana was not felt as he made zero attempts on goal despite his crosses in for Osimhen to put the ball at the back of the net.
