BREAKING: Cash Prizes that UCL Quarter-finalists, Semi-finalists, Finalist, and Winner Will Earn This Season

The Champions League has reached the quarter-finals stage with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, and Real Madrid all battling for a place in the semi-finals.

The Champions League rewards teams handsomely and this year would be no different. Participation in the Champions League alone this season earns each team in the competition €15.64 million and many of those teams involved in the quarter-finals would have one eye on the huge amount of money they would be receiving for progressing to the semi-finals. This would serve as an added motivation.

Eight teams missed out on qualifying for the quarter-finals stage but the eight teams that did qualify would be getting €10.6 million each.

Progressing to the semi-finals would see four of the eight teams in the quarter-finals receive €12.5 million.

Two teams would be progressing to the final of the prestigious competition and apart from lifting the trophy, the winner would be pocketing a whopping €20 million. The pain of losing out on the trophy would be mitigated by the €15.5 million that would bhe given to the runner-up or finalist.

This means that any team that makes it to the final would be getting at least €38.6 million and at most €43.1 million.
