Top 5 Highest Paid Players in Europe's Top leagues involving EPL, French Ligue 1, and Spanish La Liga This 2021/2022 Season

The English Premier League is the biggest in the world, not just because of its popularity and competitiveness but also because of the cash flow. This is why players in the English Premier League are some of the best-paid in the world.

In the English Premier League, Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest earner. The Portuguese five-time Ballon d'Or award winner earns €2.63 million monthly. 

He is followed by Manchester City playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne, who earns €2.06 million monthly. 

Manchester United players dominate the rest of the top five with David De Gea, Jadon Sancho, and Raphaël Varane earning €1.93 million, €1.85 million, and €1.62 million monthly. 

Meanwhile elsewhere In the French Ligue One, Paris Saint-Germain players unsurprisingly dominate the top five list of the highest earners in the league. 

Neymar Jr leads the pack with a monthly package of €4.083 million. He is followed by summer signing, Lionel Messi. The former Barcelona superstar is currently earning €3.375 million monthly. Kylian Mbappe, whose contract ends next summer is third on the list with a monthly salary worth €2.220 million monthly. 

Marquinhos and Marco Verratti complete the top five with both players earning a monthly pay worth €1.2 million monthly. 

The Spanish La Liga has Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique as its highest earner. The Spaniard earns €2.33 million monthly. He is followed by two Real Madrid stars; Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard. Both players earn €2.27 million monthly. 

Barcelona midfielder, Sergio Busquets comes fourth with a monthly salary worth €1.91 million. Atletico Madrid star and current Barcelona loanee, Antoine Griezmann rounds up the top five with €1.88 million monthly.
