UCL: Chelsea Manager Tuchel In an Interview Revealed who he wants to face in quarter finals

Following a 4-1 aggregate victory against Lille, the Blues qualified for the last eight of this year's championship.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that his team is prepared to play any team in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals this season.

The Blues defeated Lille 2-0 in the first leg three weeks ago, and they won the tie 2-1 at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on Wednesday night. Burak Yilmaz scored a penalty after Jorginho handled in the box, giving Chelsea a fright.

The reigning champions were able to level the game thanks to goals from Christian Pulisic and Cesar Azpilicueta. The Blues will now await the draw on Friday, in which they might face Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, or Manchester City, among others.

Chelsea might possibly face Benfica or Villarreal, who shocked Ajax and Juventus, respectively, in the Champions League. Chelsea fought back from a 2-1 deficit to overcome Lille 2-1 in the Champions League quarterfinals, advancing to the next round.

Tuchel stated, "I want us to be the team that no one wants to play. In this last round of eight, that's the role we see ourselves in."

"It's a significant step to accomplish it again and again, which is why we battle for top-four spots in perhaps the toughest league on the planet, and now we're fighting for spots in the top eight clubs [in Europe].

Chelsea will find out who they will face in the quarter-finals on Friday, with the first leg scheduled on April 5/6 and the second leg scheduled for a week later.
