Thomas Tuchel asked what he wants from new Chelsea owners, delivers six-word message

At a press conference ahead of the Real Madrid game, the first question put to Thomas Tuchel was what he wanted from any new Chelsea owners.

The boss opted for brevity as he said: "A strong squad, confidence and support."

We're yet to learn who is the preferred bidder out of the four shortlisted candidates to buy Chelsea.

Raine Group, the bank in charge of the sale, is expected to submit the preferred bid to the UK Government in the week commencing April 18.

As for Tuchel, he has already promised to stay at least until the end of the season. Beyond that, a lot will depend on how he would gel with new club owners.
