Werner scores quick-fire brace in Germany's 5-2 win over Italy, Batshuayi bags winner for Belgium

TIMO WERNER scored two goals for Germany as they thumped Italy 5-2 in their Nations League match.

The Chelsea forward was on hand to slide in to finish a ball across the face of the goal in the 68th minute for Germany.

Just a minute later he pressurised the opposition goalie into making an errant pass. His teammate intercepted and played the ball right back to him and Timo finished off the 1v1 situation with ease.

Meanwhile, Batshuayi scored the only goal in Belgium's 1-0 win over Poland.
