La Liga reject Barcelona's attempts to register 5 summer signings

BARCELONA have been told that they cannot register their new five summer signings until they reduce their financial issues, as per Sport

The La Liga side are yet to register Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie in their league squad yet.

Moreover, they also haven’t been able to register Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto – who signed new contracts with them in the summer.

The club must balance their financial books and reduce their wage bill to do so.

For that, Barca will have to sell more players and activate another economic lever (selling a further 24.5% of Barca Studios).

Barca’s league season starts on August 13, so they have to act quickly to be able to register the new arrivals before that.
