CAF CONFEDERATION: NPFL side Kwara United advance, Remo Stars fall at home

Kwara United have advanced into the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup after they were held to a 0-0 draw by their hosts AS Douanes of Niger Republic in Niamey.

The Harmony Boys were put under intense pressure by the home fans before kick-off but they stood up to their antics to scale through.

The Ilorin club won the tie 3-0 on aggregate.

Kwara United will next take on defending champions RSB Berkane of Morocco.

In Ikenne, Remo Stars were eliminated following a 1-0 defeat to AS FAR Rabat of Morocco.

The Moroccans scored the winning goal in the 56th minute.

AS FAR Rabat progressed 1-0 on aggregate.
