The UEFA Champions League goals have started pouring in like rain, as the big names took the goalscoring business very important with notable strike after just 3 games in the Champions season.
Erling Haaland scored twice for Man City in their emphatic victory over visiting Copenhagen at the Emirates Stadium in their 3rd game of the season. Haaland's brace put his goals tally to 5 this season and 28th Champions League goal in just 22 game, clearing off Ruud Van Nistelroy's record of the fastest goal in 30 games. However, the Norwegian remains a threat to every Striker in this year's champions League as he never looked tired of scoring goals.
Leroy Sane is second on the Log with 4 goals. The Bayern Munich Striker also recorded brace against Viktoria Plzen in their 5-0 win over the Visitors in Germany. The Germany international has proven many wrong by stepping into the shoes of Robert Lewandowski and also been able to connect with the likes of Sadio Mane and Muller in the most matured manner. He's no doubt going to be at loggerheads with City's Erling Haaland for the Golden Boot this season going by his great form both in the Germans local League and the Champions League.
After leaving Bayern Munich for Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski continue with his goal scoring attitude even though things are looking tough at the Camp Nou. The Polish Striker has scored 3 times in the season's champions League after playing 3 games. Although he wasn't in the Scorers' sheet in their last game, Lewandowski remains the favourite going by his pedigree in the competition. He will always be among the best even if he doesn't make the number 1 spot. He remain a contender until the last game in the Champions League.
PSG's Kylian Mbappe is also on 3 goals as Dortmund's Bellingham, Ajax's Kudus' and Lewandowski of Barcelona, he is one of the big guns to watch out for after signalling his intentions of winning the highest goal scorer in the Champions League over the past two seasons. The French international has got the same love for scoring goals as Haaland, Lewandowski and Sane, he will definitely be a contender to defeat in the Champions League this season.
For Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and PSG's Lionel Messi, nothing seems difficult to them as they can always come up with great goals in a very short period of time if the chance is right. The Argentine winger has ruled the champions League goals chart in previous season and could do same even at his career climax. Messi and Salah will definitely bring a fight to who ever is at the top of the log per time.
