QATAR 2022: If Croatia wins the World Cup, the former Miss Croatia has made a shocking promise to her supporters

An ex-Miss Croatia has now told supporters that she will strip if her nation wins (pardon the pun).

Ivana Knoll has been having the time of her life in Qatar and has been in the news often for wearing extremely revealing clothing.

In particular since she has the audacity to wear them in a nation with severe religious laws, where she has practically put herself in danger of arrest.

She told German journalists that she had stripped off, and they questioned her about how she would feel if Croatia won.

Ivana, who was representing Croatia at the time, reacted to a prospective victory by saying, "If that occurs, the flag falls."

News of the model's intention to take down the flag came after she justified her scanty attire by pleading with Qataris to "respect her way of life."

Regarding the country's dress regulations, she stated: "At first I was thinking if the World Cup is taking place there, they for sure will allow everything to make it comfortable for all supporters without any of their restrictions.

"I was startled when I learned about the rules after that. You are not allowed to expose your shoulders, knees, tummy, or neck when following the dress code. Oh my God, I don't even have clothes to cover that much, I thought.

Ivana said that she'd ultimately be 'super angry' if it is enforced.

It's no wonder too, either, as the event has significantly increased the model's profile, bagging her over a million Instagram followers - and she could well surpass two million by the time it's over.

While her outfits might be banned, if the pictures on her Instagram are anything to go by, locals have been enjoying the show too and she's reportedly been stopped for selfies.

She confirmed to the German publication who asked about her celebratory plans that she's going to stay in Qatar until the end of the World Cup - regardless of Croatia's fate.

But as Croatia have literally just beat Brazil to reach the World Cup semi-finals, it looks like Ivana might need to honour her promise to drop the flag!

The semi-final game between Croatia and Argentina is scheduled to take place on 13 December. We can't wait.
