Phil Foden has been named as the Premier League Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season.
The award is presented to the best player aged 23 or younger in the Premier League, and the Man City attacker receives it for a second consecutive year.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the only other player to have won the award since its inception in 2020. He was on the shortlist this time around, too, but missed out on the prize.
This season, Foden has scored nine goals and provided five assists in the Premier League. Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, has registered two goals and 12 assists, playing the whole campaign as a right-back.
