UCL Teams that have already qualified for the round of 16 and what could happen after Matchday 5

All teams contending for the European most prestigious trophy - the UEFA Champions League title have played 4 matches each this campaign.

Meanwhile 5 Teams have already sealed their place in the round of 16 clashes in the UEFA Champions League this term.

The teams includes the reigning European Champions Real Madrid, German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, Italian Serie A side Napoli, Belgian side Club Brugge and English Champions Manchester City.

Matches in day 5 of the UEFA Champions League resume 25th of October, 2022, as 11 other teams are set to join this five European side who have already qualified for the round of 16 clashes this term.

In group C German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich have qualified for the round of 16 clashes, while Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan just need a win to join the six time winners in the round of 16 clashes from a group that they were rated underdogs.

In group D English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are top of the table and they need a win to qualify for the round 16 clashes of the competition this campaign, while Olympic Marseille or Sporting CP could join the English side depending on the outcome of their matches in matchday 5 and 6 respectively this campaign.

[Group E.]

In group E Chelesa are sitting on top of the table and they need to cement that spot with a win to seal their qualification to the knockout stages of the competition.

Meanwhie one out of RB Salzburg, Dinamo-Zagreb and Italian Champions AC Milan could still qualify depending on the outcome of their matches in day 5 and 6 respectively this campaign.

In group H, Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain and Portuguese side Benfica are tied on 8 points, and victory for both sides in their next clashes could help them book a place in the round 16 clashes of the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
