Final EPL table & Match review after Man City & Liverpool drew 2-2, West Ham lost 2-0 today and other results today

Manchester City welcomed Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium in a blockbuster Premier League clash on Sunday evening.

The game was billed up as a potential Premier league title decider with both teams vying for the title.

The first half of the game got off to a flying start as Manchester City took the lead early on courtesy of a goal from Kevin De Bruyne. That goal seemed to be the wake up call for Liverpool as the Meyerside reds got back on level terms few minutes later as Diogo Jota latched on to a cutback from Sadio Mane.

It was Manchester City who would however take the lead heading into the first half break as Gabriel Jesus converted past Alisson ten minutes before halftime.

Liverpool got themselves back on level terms immediately after the restart as Sadio Mane finished past Ederson Moraes after latching on to a true ball from Mohamed Salah.

Manchester City thought they had retaken the lead few minutes later as Raheem Sterling connected sweetly with a through ball from Kevin De Bruyne but the goal was correctly ruled out for offside by VAR. The all important winning goal would elude both teams on the evening as they settled for a 2-2 draw on the evening.

Earliest in the day, West Ham United were beaten by Brentford City while Leicester City also won against Crystal Palace.
