'It's a failed gamble': Former PSG player slams decision to bring Sergio Ramos to the club

Speaking to Canal+, former Paris Saint-Germain defender Alain Roche said:: "Sergio Ramos hasn't played a single important match for the club.

"He hasn't played a single important match, even one in the Champions League.

"It's sad, we were happy to have him with us but it's a failed gamble. Now we have to believe in miracles, for me his season is over."

Ramos surprisingly left Real Madrid on a free transfer last summer to join Paris Saint-Germain, signing a two-year contract with the oil-rich Ligue 1 giants.

However, the Spaniard's first season in Paris has been an complete disaster with the 36-year-old featuring in just seven games due to injuries and fitness issues.
